Pune : The association or its members have not received any official communication about the strike by the drivers of transporter tankers of oil companies like iocl , hpcl and bpcl till now.
There have been many what’s app messages and videos regarding the strike from 1st of January till the 3rd of January 2024 which are circulated on basis of which few news channels have broadcasted the news.
There are around 900 dealers in the district, many of the dealers do have their own logistic arrangement to get the product to their petrol pump, for the rest of the dealers they do depend on transporter tankers.
Any kind of disruption for longer period can create big issue in supply of petrol and diesel in the district.
Our request to the driver and transporter community will be to not create any disruption by going on strike if any planned which will restrict the supply of essential commodities and hamper the living of the common man.
If any official communication is received to the oil companies or the association , we shall notify you regards to the same.**
